Understanding Your Seller Verification Status on eBuy

27 Apr 2026 2 views KYC Selling Seller

How seller onboarding works

eBuy separates seller verification from normal buyer activity, but both can live inside the same account. Until approval, seller tools remain limited.

Common seller states

  • Not started — you have not submitted seller verification yet
  • Submitted — your KYC is under review
  • Rejected — the submission needs corrections before seller access can be approved
  • Restricted — the submission is on hold and may need support follow-up
  • Approved — seller workspace access is available
Step 1: Use the Start Selling flow to begin seller onboarding.
Step 2: Submit KYC details from your account when you are ready.
Step 3: Monitor the Seller Verification Status page for notes or rejection reasons.

Important workflow detail

You can start building draft listings before seller approval. Publishing and seller operational tools remain locked until verification is approved.

Approval, rejection, restrictions, and timelines are reviewed manually. Seller access is controlled by platform policy and administrative review.
