Every message thread on eBuy sits inside an order. Open the order and the conversation is there.
Step 1: Go to Buyer → Orders, or Seller → Orders if you are selling.
Step 2: Open the order you want to discuss.
Step 3: Send your message from that order. Both of you see the same thread.
Why there is no general inbox
Keeping messages attached to orders means that if the order goes wrong later, support sees the conversation and the transaction together. Nobody has to screenshot anything.
Asking before you buy
You cannot message a seller you have not bought from. For questions before a purchase:
- Read the listing first. Condition notes, photos, and grade usually answer it
- Ask in the eBuy Community, where you get more than one collector's opinion
If the seller does not reply
Give them a day or two. If an order is affected and you hear nothing, raise a support ticket from that order page. Support can already see the thread, so you do not need to explain the history again.
If a seller asks you to continue on WhatsApp, or to pay by UPI or bank transfer directly, stop. A conversation on someone's phone cannot be reviewed, and money sent outside eBuy cannot be refunded by eBuy. Report it instead.
