You can find items two ways: search for words, or browse by category. Most people do both, searching first and then narrowing the results.
Searching
Type what you want into the search box. A coin name, a year, or a country all work.
Open the results page and use the filters to narrow them down.
Choose how to sort: relevance, price low to high, price high to low, or newest.
If nothing matches your exact words, eBuy may show the closest listings instead. Check the title before you assume it is what you meant.
Browsing by category
Pick a category from the Categories page, then go into a sub-category. Once you are in a category, the filters change to suit it.
The filters
- Price range
- Country, metal, and denomination
- Grade, and certification
- Year, from and to
- Extra filters for the category you are in
Some filters only appear after you choose a category, because a filter for coin metal makes no sense on a stamp.
I got no results.
Remove the filters one at a time, starting with the price range. A narrow combination of year, grade, and price is the usual reason a search comes back empty.
Only live listings that have passed review appear in search. A listing that is still a draft or under review cannot be found by buyers.
