What you are seeing
Either checkout refused your payment, or your bank sent an SMS about a debit while eBuy still shows the order as unpaid.
Why it happens
A genuine failure charges you nothing at all. The more confusing case is a payment your bank has approved but Razorpay has not finished confirming to eBuy. For a few minutes the money is out of your account and the order does not know about it yet.
How to fix it
Step 1: Wait 15 minutes, then refresh Buyer → Orders. Most pending payments settle on their own.
Step 2: If it still says unpaid, check your bank statement. See whether the amount actually left your account or was only blocked.
Step 3: If it truly left your account, raise a support ticket with your bank reference number. Support can match it against the Razorpay record.
Step 4: If the payment simply failed, try again, or use a different method.
Do not pay a second time while the first payment is still pending. That is how people end up paying twice for one item.
How long it should take
Most pending payments settle within 15 minutes. A blocked amount that was never captured is released by your bank, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
Why a payment fails in the first place
- The daily limit on your card or UPI app has been reached
- Your bank is having a busy period. These often clear in a few minutes
- The UPI app timed out before you approved it
If it is still not resolved
Raise a ticket from the order if one exists, otherwise email support@ebuy.store from your registered address with the bank reference number and the amount.
