What you are seeing
The buyer has the item, but your payout has not arrived or still shows as pending.
Why it happens
Delivery is not the last gate. A payout is released only when every one of these is clear, and any single one holds the money:
- Payment not captured
- Delivery not confirmed by the buyer
- Order cancelled or refunded
- A refund in progress
- A return in progress
- The return window still active
- A dispute active on the order
- The payout waiting period not finished
The two that surprise sellers most are the return window and the waiting period. Both are normal, and both are simply time passing rather than anything being wrong.
How to fix it
Step 1: Open Seller → Payouts and find the order. The status tells you which stage it is at.
Step 2: If the buyer has not confirmed receipt, that is the hold. Wait, or message them politely on the order.
Step 3: If a return or refund is open, the payout stays held until that case closes. Reply to it promptly, because that is what moves it along.
Step 4: If it says Failed, your bank details are the likely cause. Check the account number and IFSC in your payout settings.
Your KYC must be approved before any payout is released, however many orders you have completed.
How long it should take
After the buyer confirms receipt, the return window has to close and then the waiting period runs. Your seller screens show the current values, which can change.
If it is still not resolved
If everything is clear and the payout has still not moved, raise a support ticket with the order reference and the payout reference.
