Everything sent to you on eBuy is in one place: Messages. Order conversations with a buyer or seller, and notes from eBuy itself, show up in the same list.
Finding a conversation
- The list on the left shows your conversations, with an unread dot on new ones
- Use the tabs to narrow it: All, Sellers, Buyers, or eBuy
- Use the search box to find a conversation by name or topic
- Select one to read it and reply
What each tab holds
- Sellers: conversations with sellers you have bought from
- Buyers: conversations with people who bought from you
- eBuy: messages from the eBuy team, such as welcome notes and service updates
Starting a conversation
You cannot start a message with anyone you have not traded with. Order chats begin from the order page. For a problem you need help with, raise a support ticket instead, so the right team sees it.
Can I message someone before I buy?
Not directly. Read the listing first, or ask in the community.
