You need one government photo ID and your PAN. Bank details are not part of this form. You add your payout method after approval.
Go to your account and open seller KYC verification.
Enter your full name, date of birth, gender, and address. You must be 18 or over.
Choose your ID type (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) and enter its number. Enter your PAN number as well unless your ID is the PAN. GSTIN is optional.
Upload one clear photo or scan of that ID. JPG, PNG, or PDF, up to 2 MB.
Tick the confirmations and submit. Your seller status page then shows that verification is in progress.
Photographing your documents
Shoot in daylight, flat on a table, with all four corners in frame. No flash, no glare, no fingers over the numbers. Most rejections are simply an unreadable photo.
What happens next
- Review usually takes 1 to 3 working days
- You are emailed the result, with the reason if it is rejected
- You can keep making draft listings while you wait, but they will not go live
Why submissions get rejected
- Blurred or cropped photo — reshoot in daylight with all corners visible
- Name mismatch — the name you enter must match your ID and PAN. Small spacing differences are fine, a different name is not
- Wrong ID or PAN number — one wrong digit fails the check
If you choose Aadhaar, the number must be 12 digits. If you choose PAN, it must look like ABCDE1234F. If the form rejects yours, check for a typo rather than assuming a fault.
Fix the specific problem and submit again through the same form. Do not create a new account to retry.
