You can sign up in three ways: with an email address and password, with a one-time code sent to you, or with Google. All three create the same kind of account.
Step 1: Choose Register and pick whichever method suits you.
Step 2: Fill in anything the form asks for afterwards, such as your name or phone number.
Step 3: Verify your email address. Some actions stay locked until you do.
One account for everything
The same account signs you in to the marketplace and the community. You do not need to register twice.

- Save items to your wishlist and watchlist
- Follow sellers
- Buy, once your email is verified
What needs more
Selling needs identity verification with PAN and Aadhaar on top of the account. That is a separate step, covered in the KYC articles.
I registered by email but signed in with Google. Do I now have two accounts? No, as long as it is the same email address. Both routes reach the same account.
