What does my seller verification status mean?

27 Apr 2026 70 views KYC Selling Seller

Seller verification sits inside your normal account. You do not need a second account to sell.

The five states

  • Not started — you have not submitted verification yet
  • Submitted — your KYC is being reviewed
  • Rejected — something needs correcting. The reason is on your status page
  • Restricted — on hold, usually needing support to look at it
  • Approved — the seller workspace is open
Step 1: Use Start Selling to begin.
Step 2: Submit your KYC details.
Step 3: Watch your seller verification status page for the result and any notes.

If you were rejected

Read the reason before resubmitting. It is usually a blurred document, a name that does not match, or a missing side of the Aadhaar card. Fix that specific thing and submit again through the same form.

Do not open a second account to try again. It will not speed anything up, and duplicate accounts create problems of their own.

You can keep building draft listings the whole time you are waiting. Only publishing and payouts are held back.
